Arthur Ichiro Miyamoto, 91 year old, San Diego, CA born, former resident of Terminal Island, Kibei-Nisei resident of Long Beach, passed away peacefully in his sleep on January 25, 2017.

Survived by his wife of 67 years, Hisako; children, Mayumi (Jay) Shaheen, June (Randy) Donovan; grandchildren, Phil, Buffy, Nico, Amanda and 5 great-grandchildren; he is also survived by his sister, Toshiko Tanner of Florida and many other relatives, both here and in Japan.

Preceded in death by his son, Eiji and sister, Seiko Kawasaki.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 9, 2017, 11:00am at Long Beach Buddhist Church, 2360 Santa Fe Ave., Long Beach, CA 90810.
