Arthur passed away peacefully at his home. He is survived by his wife, his two daughters, and three grandchildren.
"Art" was born in Sacramento and moved to Los Angeles as a child. When WWII started, his family was sent to the internment camp in Granada, Colorado. He was drafted in 1945 and worked for the Army Corps of Engineers as a lieutenant in Japan.
He married Betty and they returned to the U. S. in 1958. He earned an MSCE from USC, and went to work for the City of L.A. in civil engineering.
After retirement, Art continued working as a consultant and worked on projects on his home and his kid's homes. He was deeply loved by his family and friends.
Funeral Service will be held on Sat. April 1, 3pm at Fukui Chapel, 707 E. Temple St., LA, CA
