All are welcome to attend Angel Nishinaka's Celebration of Life which will be held at Centenary United Methodist Church on Saturday, March 8, 2025 at 2:30. Centenary is located at 300 S. Central Avenue in Downtown Los Angeles.

The family requests in lieu of flowers, please make donations to Centenary United Methodist Church or your favorite charity in memory of Angel Nishinaka.

Angel's wish was to have a Mardi Gras-themed Celebration of Life in which no one wore formal black funeral attire, but rather the Mardi Gras colors of purple, green, or gold.  We have since added "Angel red" and, even if you are not dancing, Japanese hapi coats.

The Mardi Gras party following the service will include singing, dancing, and performances.  Join us on the dance floor or enjoy the festivities from afar.  To celebrate our mom's Okinawan roots, Sukiyaki Ondo and Asadoya Yunta will be two of the dances we will be having during the Mardi Gras party.  Go to https://bit.ly/SukiyakiOndoAsadoyaYunta to learn the two dances.

Needless to say, our send-off for our mom, grandma, and great-grandma will be as unique as she was…
