Amy Emiko Matsumoto, 89, Lahaina, Maui-born resident of Torrance, Calif., passed away peacefully on December 22, 2023. She is predeceased by her husband, Kumao. She is survived by her son, Mark (Cindy) Matsumoto; daughters, Mavis (Robert) Bruder, Lori Tanioka; and grandchildren, Bryan Matsumoto, Hayley Matsumoto, Matthew Bruder and Brandon Tanioka. Also survived by sister, Jean Miyahira, and many other nieces, nephews and cousins.

A private service for immediate family members was held at the Gardena Buddhist Church on February 10, 2024
