Memorial services for Mrs. Alys Ayako Ukita, a 92-year-old, Santa Monica, California-born Nisei resident of Monterey Park and former internee of Manzanar Relocation Camp who passed away on May 12, 2012 will be held on Saturday, June 2, 2012, 11:00 AM at Evergreen Baptist Church of Los Angeles., 1255 San Gabriel Blvd., Rosemead, CA 91770.
Beloved mother of Russell Tad (Miyo) Ukita and Charlene Ukita Ballesteros; grandmother of Debi (Kaz) Kayoda, Corinne Hashiro, Colleen (Eric) Tashima, Courtney (Michelle) Ukita, Alyson (Dennis) Ryan and Traci (Bob) Kato; great-grandmother of Kiana, Kari, Kristi, Kendra, Matthew and Baron. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
