Funeral service for ALBERT HIROSHI TAIRA, 71, a Brawley born Nisei and resident of Los Angeles who passed away on January 1 at the St. Vincent 's Medical Center , will be held on Wednesday, January 9, 10:00AM at Centenary United Methodist Church , 300 S. Central Avenue , L.A. , under the direction of Fukui Mortuary. Additional parking is available at Five Star (Sho Tokyo) Parking, 350 East 2 ^nd St. and Joe's Auto Park , corner of Los Angeles and 2 ^nd Streets. Shuttle service will be provided from both lots.

He is survived by his wife, Cynthia; children, Tom Hiroshi (fiancée Stephanie) Taira, Candace Hiromi (Paolo Merli) Taira, Tracy (Norbert Tan) Takahashi and Kirk Takahashi; granddaughter, Ceora Tan; sister, Margaret (Zeke) Taira Mataga and nephew, David (Linda) Ikegami.
