Albert Akira Shimabuku, 71 year old Gardena resident passed away on July 25, 2009. Albert is survived by loving companion Pauline Muronaka; daughters, Rhonda (Michael) Tano, Rona (Randy) Nakao of Hawaii; son, Russ (Lisa Hara) Shimabuku of Hawaii; grand children, Tamara Limasa of North Hollywood; Timothy Limasa of Hawaii, Kacie, Jordan, Rayden, Rylee Shimabuku of Hawaii, Rayna and Raya Nakao of Hawaii; brothers, Maurice Takashi (Yayoi) Shimabukuro and Benedict Tsune Shimabuku, and Charles (Susan) Nelson of Hawaii; sister, Cynthia Sunada of Hawaii. Albert is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives here and in Hawaii.

Services will be held at a later date in Honolulu, HI at Moiliili Cemetery.
