Ken "Ken-Ben" Osajima passed away peacefully at his home on July 13 at the age of 94. Born in Riverside, Ken was a longtime resident of Los Angeles.

He is predeceased by his daughter, Gail Hirata; siblings, Hilda Omori, Toshi Takeuchi and Nathan Osajima.

He is survived by his loving family, wife, Elsie Osajima; sons, Glenn (Lil) and Keith (Sara) Osajima; grandchildren, Erin (Philip) Asumbrado, Lauren (Daniel) Baird, Todd Hirata, Lindsay (Jason) Nokes and Avery Osajima; great-grandchildren, Maya and Sidney Asumbrado, Miles Baird, Grant Hirata, Chase and Whalen Nokes; sister, Setsu Fukuyama; son-in-law, Ken Hirata; Elsie's family, Amy (Raul Contreras) Uyematsu, Mary (John) Kao; grandchildren, Chris (Corinne) Tachiki, Malcolm and Valerie (Anthony Ababon) Kao; and many nieces, nephews and other relatives.

A "Celebration of Life" gathering will be held on Saturday, August 16, 12:00 PM, at Sea Empress Seafood Restaurant, 1636 W. Redondo Beach Blvd, in Gardena. Casual attire.
