- AKIRA TANIGUCHI, 91, Los Angeles, CA born Nisei, resident of Gardena, US Army Veteran, passed away on December 21, 2017.
He is survived by his loving family; brother, Jimmy (Grace) Taniguchi; sister, Tsuneko (Tom) Matsunaga; step-brothers, Henry (Emiko) and Joe Taniguchi; many nieces, nephews and grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
Private family funeral services were held on Friday, January 19, 2018 at Calvary Chapel South Bay.
