Funeral service for Akira Ohno 92-year-old Niigata-ken born resident of Los Angeles who passed away on May 8, 2009 at Culver West Convalescent Hospital, will be held on Saturday, May 16 from 11:30 AM at Culver-Palms United Methodist Church, 4464 Sepulveda Blvd., Culver City with Rev. Gail Nakamura Messner of West Los Angeles United Methodist Church officiating.
The deceased is survived by his daughter, Janet Shizuye Ohno Fitzgerald; son, William Akira (Julie) Ohno of Idaho; granddaughter, Nicole Melissa Weeks; grandsons, Kevin Teruo (Joyce) and Scott Shigeru Kawaguchi; great grandsons, Russell Masaki and Bryce Kazuya Kawaguchi; nephew, Timothy Hiromu Ohno; other relatives.
