A memorial service for the late Mr. Akira Johnny Muranaka, 88 year-old, Venice, CA born Nisei resident of Fountain Valley who passed away peacefully on September 17 will be held on Saturday, October 10, 11:00 AM at Fukui Mortuary "Chapel in the Garden", 707 East Temple St., Los Angeles, CA 90012 with Rev. Dr. Richard Kuyama of Centenary United Methodist Church officiating.
Family is requesting Aloha attire. The family is also requesting in lieu of flowers that donations be made to: The Alzheimer's Association.

He is survived by his family; step-children, Nathan (Debbie) and Sky Yoshimura; sister, Chiye (Shoji) Wada; he is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
