Obituary
Memorial services for the late Mrs. Aiko Mary Sugita, an 101-year-old, Californian-born Nisei resident of Torrance who passed away on November 22, 2011 will be held on Saturday, December 3, 2011, 1:00 PM at Faith United Methodist Church, 2115 W. 182nd St., Torrance, CA.
Mrs. Sugita was predeceased by her beloved husband, Shinzaemon Sugita, her son, Takasada James Sugita, her granddaughter, Lynda Aiko Fisher, and her siblings, Ayako Tokoro, Paul Mizue, Uriko Suzuki, Martha Imamura, and Michiko Takeda. She is survived by her daughter, Julia S. Nakano; grandsons, Kraig K. Nakano, Derek S. (Pamela) Nakano and Curtis T. Sugita; great-granddaughter, Stephanie L. Fisher; sister, Chiye Wakahiro; sister-in-law, Yaeko Mizue; brother-in-law, Toyoji George Sugita; she is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
The family kindly requests casual attire and in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Faith United Methodist Church.
