Funeral services for the late Aiko Masumiya, 87 year-old Oxnard born resident of Los Angeles who passed away on September 28 at St. Vincent Medical Center, will be held on Friday, October 6, from 1:00 p.m. at Hompa Hongwanji Buddhist Temple 815 E. First St., Los Angeles, CA 90012 with Rinban Chuho Matsubayashi officiating, under the direction of Fukui Mortuary.

She is survived by her husband, Asami Masumiya; sons, Yuji (Meiko) and Asao (Kim) Masumiya; daughter, Amy (Ken Helmes) Masumiya; grandchildren, Glenn (Lisa) Masumiya, Deena (Andy) Vela, Maryn, Gavin and Garret Masumiya; five great-grandchildren; sister, Suzuko (Bob) Alves; also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
