Obituary
Beloved wife of Carroll "Butch" Shoji, passed away on August 21, 2008. Adeline is survived by her husband, Butch Shoji. She was the loving mother of daughter, Leslie (Steve) Johnson, grandsons, Kai (3) and Nicholas (1mo), son, Jeremy and daughter, Noelle, and loving sister of Harriette Yamaka, June Ushijima, and Georgia Tagawa.
Adeline dedicated 35 years to the field of education, working for the Los Angeles Unified School District in many capacities – teacher, bilingual coordinator, and Asst. Principal. She also devoted much of herself to the Chatsworth West United Methodist Church.
Funeral services for Adeline Mae Shoji will be held on Saturday, September 6, 2008, at 10:30am, at the Centenary United Methodist Church, 300 S. Central Avenue, Los Angeles, CA. Gravesite burial services will follow at Green Hills Memorial Park in Rancho Palos Verdes.
