Mariko Mary Michiuye passed away peacefully in her home on October 9, 2017 at the age of 76.  She was born in Seattle, Washington, but resided in Los Angeles, CA for most of her life.  She is survived by her son, Tadashi Tad; her brother, Kazuo; sisters, Yoshiko, Yoko, Tsuruye, and Sumiko; many nieces and nephews as well as many other extended family members and many friends from her church.

A funeral service was held at Gedatsu Church USA in Rosemead, CA on October 21st.
